IN-BETWEENNESS; LANDSCAPES OF SUSPENSION

 

Occupying a space between the personal and the universal, Stuhr’s works engage themes of
transformation, vulnerability, and resilience. Her practice reflects an ongoing interest in the
intersections of abstraction, psychology, cosmology, and neuroscience, approaching painting as
a means of understanding both the external world and the shifting terrain of inner experience.
In-Betweenness: Landscapes of Suspension proposes abstraction not as an escape from reality,
but as a way of inhabiting it’s uncertainties with heightened attention and sensitivity.
